Winter is over and so your days of hard work. Now it’s time to live your life a little. Welcome this summer with new plans, new trips, and loads of fun. The first thing that crosses one’s mind on hearing the word “summer” is the summer vacation. Some want to enjoy the pleasures of sunbathing and the soothing touch of grainy sand of a beach and some want to gaze upon the infinitely wide world from a mountain top.

I’m sure every you have tried to plan such summer vacations every year, your fridge must have a list of places you want to visit and somehow you stuck at your 9 to 5 job and scrolling Instagram pictures of others living the life you wanted. But, I’m here to tell you that don’t lose your heart and definitely don’t let this summer pass without any thrilling travel experience.

Spend some time on your laptop–not for your company, but for yourself–finalize your destination, buy necessary gears to travel, get your gang out of their houses or even better, travel solo.   1. Bhutan

If you live by the mantra “mountains are calling, and I must go’, Bhutan is the perfect destination to spend your summer vacation. It is the paradise for every nomad. You can start your journey by visiting the famous Buddha Statue situated in Kuenselphodrang, Thimphu and take the most scenic hike to Tiger’s Nest in Paro. Little tip while heading toward Tiger’s Nest, make sure to capture the picturesque scenes of the valley as blue skies are clear in summer and you cannot ask for more perfect opportunity to unleash your photographer. Bhutan is filled with several exquisite monasteries including Punakha Dzong. It is the perfect place if you want a closer look at the Himalayan range. Having the architecture as old as time, Nepal has topped every list of avid travelers. You can start your journey with visiting Mustang that is on the border of Nepal and Tibet and experience the wildlife in the dense forests of alpine and rhododendron.
