- Game of Thrones
It all started when people chanted “Winter Is Coming” and used “Lannister’s Sends Their Regards” as revenge mantra. The TV show has said it out loud, even the small screen shows could have big budgets and scope just like big movies. The show faced huge obstacles along its way, including the relentless troubles from hackers to spoil the plotline. Now, after seven seasons, the producers have decided to say farewell to its audience, even though GoT book series still have future installments to come. The only relief is that there will be a spin-off that is currently in production.
The bipolar American spy, Carrie Mathison is all set to end her beloved series, Homeland. The first two seasons of the show received the highest ratings and acclaims. However, from the third season, the TV series dropped its viewership. Despite the constant adverse reviews of the show, Homeland somehow managed to retain its fanbase. However, after five more seasons, the producers decided to shut down the drama at the finale of season eight.
3. The Big Bang Theory
Turn the pages of history and pull out all the sitcoms that have season numbers in double-digits and still managed to engage viewers like The Big Bang Theory, you’ll find only one or two. From being the bachelor nerd scientists, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj have now completely transformed themselves. The ratings of the series never came down and it has set a record for being the longest-running multi-camera comedy of all time. However, it is time to say goodbye to our favorite nerds as Jim Parsons, the actor who plays Sheldon Cooper has decided to leave the show and instead of finding another Sheldon or carry on without the character, the producers decided to call it a day and we can’t stop crying over the news.
The underrated cable network USA has been entertaining with its best lawyer drama, Suits, which is filled with quirky dialogs borrowed from the movies such as Breakfast Club, The Wire, A Few Good Men, and several other well-known series. Suits gathered huge mainstream attention last year when one of the stars from the show got married to a prince. However, after the unfortunate exit of the original members Patrick J. Adams and Gina Torres, it seems like the show is on its way to an end.
